Opening of The Bedouin Heritage & Hospitality Tent

Thursday, April 4th 2019, The Foreign & Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom in Jerusalem visited Jabal Al-baba, to celebrate the opening of The Bedouin Heritage and Hospitality tent.


The delegation headed by the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Jerusalem Mr. David Stansbury, visited the Bedouin community of Jabal Al-baba and the public facilities, the Medical clinic, Kindergarten, and Women’s center, as well as viewing short movies made by the children of Jabal Al-baba. Then celebrating the opening The Bedouin Heritage and Hospitality tent with local community leaders and officials from the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs, and the Palestinian officials.

The Bedouin Heritage and Hospitality tent is a project funded but The Foreign & Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom in Jerusalem, to help preserve the heritage of the Bedouin people, presenting traditional tools used by the Bedouin people throughout the time.
